Although we at Mr D’s® Cookware take great care not to offer items that are out of stock we cannot guarantee that everything on the site is available at the time of your order and therefore reserve the right to refuse orders should we be unable to provide the items. Also due to fluctuation of prices we cannot guarantee any of the prices quoted.
We accept most popular Credit Card, Debit Card payments with our credit card partners Square and PayPal. We also accept PayPal transfers and direct bank transfers.
When using you credit or debit card you have the choice of Square or PayPal and you will be redirected through our secure payment gateway and they will process your payment.
The goods will not be sent out until the customer’s funds that have been paid to Mr D’s Cookware have cleared in full. In the case of cheques this can take up to 5 working days so if you urgently require the item please do not use this form of payment.
Please note that all transactions will be carried out in pounds sterling. Once you have placed your order, confirmation will be sent to you via e-mail complete with Transaction and Order Reference numbers. Mr D’s® Cookware monitors prices on a daily basis.
We will not be held responsible for pricing errors due to software mal-functions, or human error. This website operates on an ‘invitation to treat’ basis and not as an ‘offer for sale’ as a result, Mr D’s Cookware reserves the right to decline orders for bulk or high value purchases.
Delivery – UK Mainland:
UK Mainland delivery does not include Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands.
Scottish Highlands includes postcodes: AB31-38, AB40-56, IV1-28, IV30-32, IV36-40, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-38, PH4-41, PH49-50.
Scottish Islands includes postcodes: HS, IV41-49, IV51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE.
Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands includes postcodes: BT, GY, IM, JE, TR, PO.
All prices are excluding delivery charges which are charged based on the weight and destination of the item/items and is worked out automatically at checkout. We endeavour to keep these costs down to a minimum so we are continually looking for the most economical way of shipping. In the unlikely event the delivery charges exceed our calculation at the time of the order then we reserve the right to contact you to pay the difference.
Your order will be normally be sent out within two working days and could take a further 5 business days to arrive with you. If you require more urgent delivery please contact us directly prior to ordering to arrange a priority delivery service which might be at additional cost depending on location.
Damaged Delivery – IMPORTANT
We take great care to make sure our products are well packaged AND we use couriers that look after our products in transit AND we pay a premium to insure higher valued items when in transit. However things can go wrong and there are a few occasions every year when items do get damaged. You should inspect your package when it is delivered and note any visible damage to the courier on the delivery form, you should also take photos of the damaged packaging prior to opening as this may be required for an insurance claim. When you open the package again take photos of the contents and the damaged areas. Contact Mr D’s Cookware at the earliest opportunity (by phone or email) and we will help resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Do not throw the packaging or the damaged item away until the issue has been resolved as it may be required by the couriers as evidence for the insurance claim.
Credit Card Security
At this stage, you will be passed on to a Secure Order Processing page, your details will be encrypted by 128-bit industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide encryption of personal information such as your name, address and credit card details.
PLEASE NOTE – credit card payments may show as Mycroft Enterprises Ltd on your statement, this is the company that owns Mr D’s Cookware.
We collect only the basic personal details required to process your order. We will not release your name, address, email address or any other information about our customers to any outside party. We will not trade, resell, sell or redistribute information that you provide to us, to any other companies, organisations or individuals.
We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with a no fuss guarantee. In accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive, you are entitled to cancel your order at any time within 14 days* of receiving your goods. The cancellation period ends on the expiry of the period of 14 working days beginning with the day after the day on which you received the goods.
If you wish to cancel an order under these terms, first contact us and then return your products unopened within 14 days of receiving your parcel. On receipt of the returned goods we will then refund you the cost of the items minus the delivery cost to you. This will be the amount shown on the invoice issued when sending out the items to you.
Also you are responsible for any breakages or loss of items being returned so please make sure that they are carefully protected against breakage. We would also recommend you insure any item of high value.
NOTE: We do not refund the return delivery costs to us unless the goods are being returned due to them being faulty.
Warranty on Mr D’s Thermal Cookers:
Your Mr D’s® Thermal Cooker is guaranteed for 2 years (see note below) from the purchase date against material defect as a result of normal use in compliance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Mr D’s Cookware will repair or replace parts as it considers appropriate.
Up to 1 year Mr D’s® Cookware will only be responsible for repair or replacement costs of the cooker and all carriage charges to and from the country that the cooker was originally sent.
After 1 year Mr D’s® Cookware will only be responsible for repair or replacement costs of the cooker and the purchaser will be responsible for all carriage charges. This includes the cost of returning the cooker to us and the cost of us sending out a replacement or repaired cooker.
This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights which are not affected.
* IMPORTANT After 14 days where the customer has simply changed their mind you will be refunded, subject to a restocking charge and non refundable delivery costs, all goods need to be returned in a re-sellable condition with the original packaging they were delivered in.
